Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryABE HILDEBRANDT 1930 - 2000 Passed away peacefully Monday, November 27, 2000 at the Vita Hospital. He will be fondly remembered by his children, Ernie (Diane), Les (Aline), Dennis (Anita) and Ted; grandchildren, Richard, Kevin and Amber; brothers, sisters and numerous relatives. Abe was born into a family of 11 brothers and sisters and was raised on a farm north of Stuartburn, Manitoba. In 1955 Abe began a 36 year career with Manitoba Pool Elevators. In 1963, Abe and his family moved to a farm near Roseau River where he would ultimately retire in 1990. Funeral service will be held Friday, December 1 at 10:00 a.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 150 Penfeld Dr., Steinbach, MB. Reception immediately following service at Roseau River Park. Private interment at Stuartburn Sommerfeld Cemetery. Viewing will be held Thursday, November 30, 7:00-8:00 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel and prior to the service.
