WILLIAM (BILL) VENCHUK Venchuk, William (Bill) on Tuesday, November 28, 2000 in his 87th year, at Stonewall Rosewood Lodge, with Elsie, his wife of 57 years by his side. Bill served in the R.C.A.F. from 1941 to 1945 as an aero engine mechanic where they met and married. Deeply saddened by his loss, he leaves to mourn, his sweetheart Elsie; his daughters, Patricia (Roger) Carriere of Stonewall, Caren Oldfield of Kirkfield, ON, Riesa (Stan) Marcus of Sidney, B.C.; his special friend and nephew Jack LaRoque of Midland, ON; two grandchildren, Traci and Donald; three great-grandchildren, Justin, Greg and Jade. He will be sadly missed by his sisters-in-law, Edna (John) Anderson of Winnipeg and Lillian (Doug) Awde of Port Dover, ON, as well as his many nieces and nephews, and his many long time friends. He is survived by his two sisters, Kay and Mary of Dearbourne, Michigan. Friends may pay their respects on Friday, December 1 between 7:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. at MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Stonewall. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 2 at 12:00 p.m. at Stonewall Christian Assembly, Highway 67, Stonewall. Interment will follow in the Stonewall Cemetery. Mackenzie Funeral Home, Stonewall, in care of the arrangements.
