WILLIAM (BILL) PENNER As a result of a tragic accident, on November 28, 2000 Bill Penner beloved husband of Rose (nee Adolphe) and father of Zachary, Jake and Jessica, passed away at the age of 41 years. Along with his wife and children, left to cherish his memory are brothers John (Jocelyne), Pete (Sharon), Jake (Anna), Meno and Harold (Heather) sisters Mary (Hank), Margaret (Ed), Agatha (Gary), Betty (Mike), Violet (Gino). He will also be greatly missed by his mother-in-law Gertrude Adolphe, brothers-in-law, Claude (Doreen), Roland (Diane), Renald (Della) sisters-in-law Marguerite (Marvin), Gisele (Gerald) along with numerous nieces, nephews and many friends. Bill was predeceased by his parents John and Margaret and his father-in-law, Ernest Adolphe. Bill was born in Stonewall, Manitoba and was raised in St. Laurent, Manitoba. At the time of his untimely passing he was a resident of Lorette, Manitoba. In September of 1984 Bill met the love of his life Rose. They married in 1989, lived in Winnipeg for several years until moving to Lorette in 1997. In 1994, Bill and Rose became the proud parents of Zachary, followed by Jake in 1996 and Jessica in 1998. Bill was employed at Allied Systems as a vehicle transporter for the past several years. Bill was a devoted husband, father, brother and friend. He was a kind, gentle, and fun loving man. He always had a smile on his face and a hearty laugh to greet you. Bill devoted himself to helping anyone who came across his path and could always be found helping someone out. He often spent extra time and effort to do things well. Pallbearers will be his nephews, Lawrence Wiebe, Daryl Penner, George Adolphe, his best friends Randy Johnson, Paul Meilleur and Allan Schwark. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 2 at 11:00 a.m. in Klassen Funeral Chapel, 1897 Henderson Hwy, with Pastor Darnell Plett officiating. Interment will follow in Green Acres Memorial Gardens. In honour of Bills memory and in keeping with the way he was, his family asks that in lieu of flowers or donations, please do a kind deed for someone. GREEN ACRES FUNERAL CHAPEL 222-3241
