RICHARD JOHN SCOTT After a lengthy illness, Richard Scott passed away at Misericordia Health Centre on Sunday, November 19, 2000. "Dick" is survived by his wife of 39 years, Audrey, Tuxedo Villa Nursing Home, a daughter in Calgary, Alta., and a good friend Brian Humnisky. Dick was born in Fort Rouge, Winnipeg, on June 28, 1921, and served some time in the Air Force in his later years. He traveled extensively with Audrey to many places, one of his favourites being Las Vegas. In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no service. Interment will be at a later date. Audrey wishes to thank staff at Misericordia Health Centre, Riverview and Public Trustee office who assisted Dick throughout his illness. NEIL BARDAL INC. 949-2200

  • In the busy world of justice, Richard Scott added significantly by providing leadership, service and wisdom to the many levels in the legal structure, including Leadership in Manitoba and Canada. A very busy and engaged person with deep commitments to his family and friends. Even with those many joyous and heartfelt love of family, friends, community programs he had time for the poor and hungry citizens! He helped at front lines of hunger and poverty! Not just to share food, but asking the question why! I admire his wisdom and grieve the loss of such a friend, but thankful for his gift of time and admire the family he cherished!
