MARION GRAHAM (nee MORGAN) Peacefully, with her family by her side, Marion Graham passed away on Wednesday, November 29, 2000 at Grace Hospital. Marion will be lovingly remembered by husband Arnold; daughter Linda; son Ken (Sherry) grandchildren, Jennifer, Daniel, Jessie, and Amanda; sister Erlene Morrison and sister-in-law Kay Graham as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Marion is predeceased by her sisters, Gladys and Esther. Marion was born in Govan, Sask., on February 4, 1915 and then moved to La Broquerie, Man., and on to Winnipeg. She worked as a stenographer for a chartered accountant and later as a hairdresser. In 1947, she married Arnold and became a devoted wife, mother, and later a grandmother. Her greatest joy was bringing happiness to others through her involvement in family, church, and the community. Visitation will be on Sunday, December 3 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Funeral service will be held Monday, December 4 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. A gathering of family and friends will be held in the Chapel Lawn Reception Centre. The family wishes to thank Dr.s Albak, Harris, and Mulder and the caring staff of 5N and 4W of Grace Hospital for their compassion. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Marions memory to Tabernacle Baptist Church, 155 Bannerman Ave., R2W 0T3 or Canadian Cancer Society, Manitoba Division, 193 Sherbrook, R3C 2B7 or a charity of your choice.
