Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLESTER "POPS" HEARSUM November 24, 1924 - November 28, 2000 It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Les Hearsum. He leaves to mourn his wife Hilda; sons, David and Paul; daughter-in-law Kathy; grandchildren, Kelli, Reid and Breanne and feline companion, Baby. Les spent 40 enjoyable years working for the Manitoba Telephone System. In his leisure time he traveled to Falcon Lake where he passed along his guidance and wisdom to Paul, as they built their summer cottage together. His other interests included weekly bridge games with his buddies, collecting coins and stamps, reading and puttering around the house. Les is synonymous with trying to finish the numerous projects he started and being the proverbial packrat, saving ABSOLUTELY everything. His three grandchildren were very special to him and he took an active interest in all their endeavors. His quiet presence will be surely missed. We love you Pops. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 4 at 10:00 a.m. in Thomson Funeral Chapels, 669 Broadway. Interment will follow in Assumption Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 102-310 Broadway, Winnipeg, R3C 2L4. THOMSON FUNERAL CHAPELS 783-7211
