PAULINE PACIORKA (nee SIEMESH) March 26, 1914 - November 29, 2000 It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and mother-in-law Pauline Paciorka, aged 86 years, on Wednesday, November 29, 2000, at the St. Boniface General Hospital. She leaves to cherish her memory daughter Mary (Alex) Shewchuk, their children, Debbie (Art) Doerksen, Dave (Connie) Shewchuk; granddaughters, Joanne (Harold) Podolchuk, Barbara Slymkevich; daughter-in-law Phyllis Paciorka; sisters, Olga, Emily, Stephanie and Mae; brother John; many nieces, nephews; sisters-in-law, Stella Sawka and family, Olga Paciorka and family. She was predeceased by her husband John. J. Paciorka on February 9, 1990; daughter Elsie Slymkevich on May 1, 1995; son-in-law Gerald Slymkevich on November 28, 1996; son Maurice Paciorka on March 7, 2000; parents Joseph and Anna Siemesh; sisters, Mary, Lena; brothers, Boris and Walter. Mother was married on April 24, 1934, to John J. Paciorka and together they farmed near Vita, Man. In 1975 they moved to the town of Vita, enjoying their retirement there until Dads passing in 1990, after which she moved to Winnipeg to be near her children. Mother was a loving, caring and hard working person who will be deeply missed by all her family and friends. Prayers will be held at Loewen Funeral Chapel in Steinbach on Sunday, December 3, at 7:00 p.m. Funeral service will be on Monday, December 4, at 10:00 a.m. at the Holy Trinity Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Vita, Man., with Rev. Father Miron Pozniak officiating. Interment to follow in the Parish Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Dave Shewchuk, Art Doerksen, Harold Podolchuk, Orest Paciorka, Earl Sawka and Nestor Sawka.
