Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryTYLER MURRAY DESJARLAIS Sadly, on December 2, 2000 after a long, hard battle with Cystic Fibrosis, Tyler Murray Desjarlais passed away at the Childrens Hospital PICU in Winnipeg at the age of 16 years, with his loving and caring mother Maureen and family and friend Rob by his side. Tyler was born in Winnipeg on September 2, 1984. He lived in Lundar for the better part of his life. He loved to go hunting, fishing, camping, his bonfires, driving his truck and Uncle Freddys four wheeler, but most of all, he loved to ride his dirt bike with his dog Poncho. He loved to get up early in the morning and watch the sun come up and listen to the birds chirp. He also loved music, watching his cartoons and listening to Old Time Fiddle Tunes and planning for the future, also he loved a lot of flowers. To Tyler, his mom was a jack-of-all-trades, no matter what had to be done. He leaves to mourn his loving and caring mother Maureen Desjarlais of Lundar, grandparents Ken and Leona Desjarlais of Lundar, Uncle Freddy Revet (Aunty Val) of Lundar, his cousins Cindy Revet (Ron) of Winnipeg, Crystal Revet (Tod) and Tristin of Winnipeg; Leon Revet (Tammy) Kayla and Taylor of Lundar, Monica of Winnipeg, Uncle Bill Revet (Aunty Esther) of Lundar and family, also his great-uncles and aunts, Clarence Desjarlais (Simone) of Lundar, Bobby Desjarlais (Vivian) of Lundar and Auntie Marg Desjarlais of Inwood and all their families and numerous friends and good friend Leonard Loewen, his special friends Rob, Trevor, Jon and Dr. Fredareco. He was predeceased by his Uncle Murray Desjarlais December 1, 1966, Great-Uncle Joe Desjarlais, October 13, 1997, his great-grandparents and numerous aunts, uncles and special friends Ashley, Jason, Gayton, Mellissa and Kyla. Prayers will be held on Wednesday, December 6, at 7:00 p.m. at Arnasons Funeral Chapel in Lundar. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Thursday, December 7, at 12:00 p.m. in the Lundar Community Hall with Father Taras Kowch and Father Ernest Kamath officiating. Service will conclude at the hall with cremation to follow. Viewing at the hall. Luncheon to follow the service. Pallbearers will be Fred Revet, Bill Revet, Leon Revet, Ron Desjarlais, Tod Boss, Daniel Lamoureux and Leonard Loewen. Honorary pallbearers will be all in attendance. Maureen and family would like to thank the Childrens Hospital CF Team, CH 5 and PICU for the loving and wonderful care given to Tyler while he was in the hospital. Also to all the Doctors who helped. Thank you to the Lundar School for all they have done to help Tyler. Tyler would love to have people to sign their donor cards to help save other lives. A special thanks to Dr. Hans Pasterkamp. Thank you to Charlotte Jasamine, and Cheryl Jones for coming to see Tyler and to Cathy Law for making Tyler laugh and being a friend. Flowers gratefully accepted. If ever there was a man who could take an idea and turn it into a shining success it is you. If ever there was a man who could be an inspiration to all around him it is you Tyler. If ever there was a man who always loved people, and nature it was you.
