KATHERINA BRAND September 22, 1911- December 2, 2000 Peacefully and surrounded by love. "Precious in the sight of the lord, is the death of His Saints." Psalms 116:15. Mom has left a legacy of love, unconditional love that knows no boundaries. She was a peacemaker, a keeper of secrets and chose only to see the good in people. She has left a void in our lives that will be difficult to fill. We will remember her for her love of God and family, ever present joy of music and a sense of humour that never ceased to entertain and surprise us. We give thanks that God has brought her home to be a partaker of the inheritance of the saints in light. Mom will be fondly remembered by her children, Roy (Rosalie), Bob (Fran), daughter Carol, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her beloved husband David. Heartfelt thanks to the staff of Calvary Place for the exceptionally compassionate care during my mothers last days.
