He took early retirement and spent many wonderful winters with his wife in Arizona where they enjoyed square dancing. Our father was very devoted to our mother, his wife of 54 years. After she suffered a stroke, he cared for her devotedly at home for eight years until her health dictated she could no longer stay home. He faithfully visited her every day at the Deer Lodge Centre keeping her company and pampering and teasing her in that gentle way of his. His love and dedication for our mother was unquestioning. They are now together - it was meant to be. Dad, you were an inspiration to us all with your faith, devotion and love.
