Date of Passing: Dec 04, 2000
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryIDA PAMULA (nee CENERINI) Unexpectedly, on December 4, 2000, 16 days prior to the 90th birthday, Ida Rose Pamula graced the heavens with her presence. Left to mourn her deeply is her only daughter Dianne (Terry) granddaughter Michelle (John) grandson Darren and her two great-grandsons Shawn and Justin. Also left to mourn her memory are sisters Mary and Adele and brother Fred (Cecile) as well as numerous relatives. Ida was predeceased by her first husband Rock, her second husband Michael (1997), son-in-law Rudy (1994) as well as eight brothers and sisters. Ida was one of 12 children born to Vincent and Amabilla. She was raised in the little town of Cardinal, MB. On December 1, 1951 she wed Michael. Due to Michaels employment with the railways, they moved frequently from Saskatchewan to rural Manitoba finally settling in Windsor Park. For the last four and a half years she resided with her daughter Dianne and husband Terry in Transcona until her passing. Grammy was always there for you. She was very proud to have become a great grandma. Shawn and Justin were her "little boys". In the Spring of 2000, grandson Darren moved to Alberta and though she missed him dearly, she was very proud of his accomplishments. The times spent with her family were very special to her and we will cherish these times forever. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 8 at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 Des Meurons Street. A private family interment will take place at a later date. Those dearest to us never really leave, they live on in the way they cared, shared and made us happy. REST NOW GRANDMA, YOU ARE AT PEACE.
