RAYMOND RICHARD BOND On Wednesday, December 6, 2000, at the Maples Personal Care Home, Raymond Bond, aged 55 years, beloved husband of Sharon Bond of Teulon. Born April 11, 1945, at Teulon, Raymond attended Stacpoole School and Teulon Collegiate, then farmed in the Teulon District. He was active in the community being a member of the Teulon Golf and Country Club, Teulon Curling Club and Teulon Lions Club. Raymond loved to hunt, fish, curl and watch his sons play hockey and baseball. Surviving besides his wife Sharon, sons, Darren (Janine) of Teulon and Devon at home; his parents Grant and Esther Bond of Teulon; brothers, Don, Ken (Sylvia), Leonard, Bruce (Donna), Stuart (Dayve) and Murray (Margaret) sisters, Evelyn (Wayne) Bowles and Pat (Owen) Beever; his mother-in-law Mary Assels; brothers and sisters-in-law, Chuck and Rhona Furness and Raymond and Marion Assels, Adele Bond; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; and his dog Molly. A prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m., Sunday, December 10, at the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Teulon. A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 11, at 2:30 p.m. in the Teulon Rockwood Centennial Centre, Rev. Ken Anstie will officiate, with a private family interment to follow in Windsor Cemetery, Teulon. Pallbearers will be his brothers, Don, Ken, Leonard, Bruce, Stuart, Murray and brother-in-law Chuck Furness. If friends so desire memorial donations may be made to the Interlake Community Cancer Program in care of Johnson Memorial Hospital, Gimli, Man., the Society for Manitobans with Disabilities, 825 Sherbrook St., or to Goodwin Lodge, Teulon, Man. MacKenzie Funeral Home Teulon in care of the arrangements.
