Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRUBY HELEN CAULDWELL (nee MORRIS) It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our mother, Ruby Helen Cauldwell on Thursday, December 7, 2000 at the age of 88. She will always be loved, missed and remembered by her son Douglas and daughter Anita; sisters, Eve (Perc) Macklem and Lois (Gord) Ronald and her many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Ruby was predeceased by her husband Bill (1993) mother Alice (1979) father Bill (1975) sisters, Mrytle, Nita, and Margaret and two infant brothers. Ruby was born March 5, 1912, in Winnipeg, Manitoba . She attended Lord Selkirk School and taught Sunday School at St. Cuthberts Church. Ruby worked for Eatons for many years, first in the millinery department and later in the lingerie department until her retirement. She was married on June 26, 1948 in St. Cuthberts Church, and lived in Fort Rouge for 52 years. She and her husband Bill, built their cottage at Sandy Hook and spent many weekends at their country hideaway. Ruby was a member of Mothers Union at Georges Anglican Church for many years. Handicrafts, knitting, crocheting, and gardening were her passions. Her hands were never idle. She loved to fill her home and the family cottage with cut flowers from her gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations in Rubys memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Mb., 301-352 Donald St., R3B 2H8. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, December 13 at 2:00 p.m. in the Leatherdale Gardiner Funeral Chapel, 1501 Waverley St., with Rev. Don McIntyre officiating. Interment to follow in Waverley Memorial Gardens also at 1501 Waverley St. Loving and kind in all her ways Upright and just to the end of her days Sincere and True in her heart and mind Beautiful memories she left behind What would we give, her hand to clasp Her patient face to see To hear her voice, to see her smile As in the days that used to be.
