Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPAUL KOLCHUK (KOWALCHUK) Son of Brokenhead Pioneers Paul Kolchuk, died early Sunday morning, December 3, 2000, in Kalamazoo, Michigan. He was 88 years old Born at Brokenhead, Man., son of Alexander and Melenia Kowalchuk, who settled in 1900. He emigrated to the United States, where he married Grace Kielasa in January 1941 and became a citizen. He was a highly successful businessman and entrepeneur venturing into a variety of businesses that he made successful through his business acuments, energy and personality. He was an inspiration to many, making a profound impression on those with whom he came in contact with. He was a loving husband to Grace and a caring father to his three daughters, Betty Ann Semrau (Michael), Janice McGuire (Mike) and Claudia Selig (Gary) and an affectionate grandfather to his eight grandchildren. He is survived by sister Nell Yesowich of Detroit, Mich. and brother Steve of Winnipeg. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial gathering is planned for the summer of 2001, at his home in Kalamazoo, Mich., U.S.A.
