Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOYCE CAROLINE LUSSIER May 23, 1946 - December 6, 2000 It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Joyce Lussier. She leaves to mourn her husband Dennis; daughter Paula (Buck) St. Goddard; grandchildren, Darrell and Amber; her mother Stella Peters; her sisters, Gail (Fred) Shlanda, Verna (Peter) Giesbrecht; brothers, Larry (Pat) Peters, Raymond Peters, and many nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her father Aron Peters. Joyce grew up in Winnipeg, then later in life settled in Elm Creek. She loved to meet and talk with people and was proud to work as a waitress and be able to do this for many years. She had many favorite hobbies and pastimes, including gardening, needlework, puzzles, Nintendo and cards. Joyce could always be found in her vegetable or flower gardens, or busily rearranging her many ceramic lawn ornaments. Viewing will be on Saturday December 9, at Doyles Funeral Chapel in Carman from 1:30 - 3:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, December 10, at Doyles Funeral Chapel in Carman, Manitoba at 2:00 p.m., with Rev. Harold Kenyon officiating. Interment will follow in Elm Creek Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 102-310 Broadway, Winnipeg, R3C 2L4.
