JOHN T. JAMES August 28, 1945 - December 6, 2000 On December 6, 2000, at the Health Sciences Centre, surrounded by family and friends, John T. James began his journey towards eternal life and rest with his parents John and Louise, Shirley Ann and Noella; brothers, Cecil and Joseph; sisters, Joan and Joanne; son Jimi Noel and granddaughter Naomi Kristen Faye. John T. will be sadly missed by his children, Cheryl, Sharon (Sheldon), John Jr., Cecil, George (Vanessa), Kinew, Carly, Sandy and Armondo; one brother Louis; two sisters, Stella and Liz; 11 grandchildren; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and special friend Janice. He worked with and fought for many causes which evolved of his belief of caring, sharing and giving to his community and his people. He will be dearly missed as a father, brother, uncle, grandfather, friend and a man who was willing to go that extra mile for his people. Wake and graveside ceremony to take place at his residence in Roseau Rapids South beginning Friday, December 8, and concluding Tuesday, December 12, at 11 a.m. Special thanks to the doctors, nurses and unit assistants of the Health Sciences Centre 4H and M.I.C.U. for their care and compassion of John T.
