HUGH CLYDE GORDON January 31, 1919 - December 7, 2000 Peacefully on December 7, 2000 at the Betel Home in Selkirk, Hugh Clyde Gordon, aged 81 years, a lifelong resident of Selkirk. Our father, grandfather and great-grandfather has completed his journey. Like any traveler, he experienced the joys and sorrows that come with lifes journey. Dad was a kind, gentle and compassionate man who along with his beloved wife Ada, welcomed all those who arrived at their home. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 12 at 11:00 a.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk, with Rev. barb janes officiating. Interment of ashes to take place at a later date in the Little Britain Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a gift may be given in memory of Gramps to The Selkirk Foundation, P.O. Box 400, Selkirk, MB, R1A 2B3, or the Childrens Wish Foundation (Lower Level, 350 St. Mary Avenue, Winnipeg, MB, R3C 3J2). Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
