Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBENNY ANDREW BARTEN Suddenly on Tuesday, December 6, 2000 at his residence, Benny Barten, aged 61 years, of Lundar and formerly of Winnipeg. Born December 21, 1938 in Winnipeg, he had lived in Lundar for the past four years. Surviving to mourn his loss, three sons and one daughter, Rick (Deanna), Rodney (Tracey), Michelle (Rob of Moosomin, SK) Brown, Randy; his former wife Beverly Barten, all of Winnipeg; three grandchildren, Cassandra, Stephanie and Shawn; three sisters, Marge (Emil) Protz of Arborg, Doris Bulawka of Edmonton, Louise (Peter) Obelnicki of Fisher Branch; one brother Robert; nephews and niece. He was predeceased by his parents, Louis and Mary. Friends may call from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. Monday, December 11 at the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Teulon. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 12 at 2:00 p.m. in St. Peter Lutheran Church, Teulon. Pastor Barry Rasmussen will officiate. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to the Childrens Wish Foundation, 350 St. Mary Ave., Winnipeg. MacKenzie Funeral Home, Teulon, in care of arrangements.
