ARTHUR LAJOIE Suddenly on December 7, 2000, Arthur Lajoie passed away at the age of 56. He was born in Ste. Anne, Man., November 6, 1944, son of Adrien and Madeleine Lajoie. In 1966 he married Monique Rioux and was blessed with four children. Arthur was predeceased by his mother Madeleine and three brothers, Joseph, Louis and Michel. Arthur leaves to mourn his passing wife Monique; children, Louis (Samantha), Nicole (Matthew), Alain and Chantal; his dad Adrien and Lauraine; his brothers and sisters, Raymond (Jeanne), Irene (John) Paradis, Paul (Monique), Leo (Elma), Isabelle (Irwin) Wirch, Therese (Andre) Chaput, Ernest (Claire), Cecile (Roger) Lesage, Diane (Cal) Liske, Lorraine (Leigh), Jeanine (Gerry) Levesque and Denise (Dave) Wall; his brothers and sisters-in-law, Charles (Emilie), Lucien (Doris), Gerard (Priscille), Leon (Carmelle), Yvonne (Denis) Champagne, Jean-Marie (Rolande), Eugene (Judy), Pauline Tucker and many nieces, nephews and numerous friends. Art loved life and always loved to have fun. He owned his own business and his pride and joy was his family and his hobby farm where many gatherings have taken place. Art was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone in need - family, friends, neighbours, customers and strangers. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Funeral services will be held at the Ste-Anne Catholic Church on December 12 at 2:00 p.m. with Father Edouard Bonin officiating. Interment will follow in the Ste-Anne Parish Cemetery.
