Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANNIE STOROSCHUK 1916 - 2000 Peacefully, on December 7, 2000, our mother passed away at East Gate Lodge in Beausejour where she lived for the last four years. Annie was one of ten children born to Wasyl and Paraska Feechuk in Tolstoi, Manitoba. In 1933, she married Bill Storoschuk and moved to a farm at Vita where they farmed for over forty years. While Annie was still able, she was busy quilting, crocheting, gardening, painting Easter Eggs and embroidering Ukrainian blouses, many of which she sold. She engaged life fully and vitally in an exemplary way, insisting on celebrating holidays like Christmas and Easter at her home, instilling in us Ukrainian customs. Left to cherish her memory are daughter Bernice (Jim) Sitar, sons Maurice (Janet) and Bob (Tonia) Storoschuk and her grandchildren Debbie (Gordon), Lorraine, James (Marilyn), Gary, Pamela, Rich (Christine), Roger, her great-grandchild Ryne Sitar, also her brother Mike (Mary) Feechuk and sister Pearl Kosowan and their families, and numerous friends. Funeral service will be held at Stuartburn Greek Catholic church on Monday, December 11, 2000 at 11:00 a.m. with viewing prior to the service. Interment in Stuartburn Catholic Cemetery, Pallbears will be her grandchildren. Special thanks to the caring and compassionate staff at East Gate Lodge. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to East Gate Lodge Memorial Fund, Box 1690, Beausejour, MB. R0E 0C0.
