ANNE WASIO (nee FORMAN) It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved mother and grandmother at her home on Saturday, December 9, 2000. She will be deeply missed by her daughter Margaret whose care and devotion allowed mom to remain at home these last few months. She is also mourned by sons, Edward, James (Audrey) and grandchildren, James and Vanessa. Anne was predeceased by her husband Nicholas in 1973; parents, Joseph and Mary Forman; brothers, Walter, John and Mike. She is survived by her sister Jean and brothers, Frank and Stanley. Anne was born on November 11, 1924 in East Selkirk, MB where she resided all her life. She worked hard all her life especially on the farm. Mom was always cheerful and had a positive attitude approach to life. She was an excellent cook and gardener who always put her family first. We will always remember her for her kindness and generosity. Her interests included needlepoint at which she excelled, nature, animals of all kinds, and in later years she enjoyed her outings with the seniors group. Mom (Nan) took a keen interest in the activities of her grandchildren and was very proud of their achievements. In accordance with Moms wishes, prayers will be held on Monday, December 11 (tonight) at 7:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk, and a private family service will be held on Tuesday. The family wishes to thank Dr. Lindenschmidt for his care, Margaret Thorburn, Vi and Gus for their friendship and support. Flowers are gratefully declined.
