ALLEN JOHN SHEPHERD Peacefully, on December 8, 2000 our dad and grandpa died at Rock Lake District Hospital in Crystal City, at the age of 77 years. Allen was born November 19, 1923 and spent most of his youth in Deloraine, MB. At age 16, he joined the C.P.R. and in 1948 married Marion McCrindle. They lived and took part in the life of various communities in Manitoba settling in Crystal City. He was predeceased by Marion in 1987 and leaves to mourn daughters, Caroline (Al), Wendy (Doug), Debby (Don) grandchildren, Kristen and Dana, Raegan and Shaun, Christopher and Alanna; loving neighbour and friend "Fran"; brother Tim and wife Esther; numerous nephews, nieces and friends. Graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. followed by memorial celebration of Allens life at Crystal City United Church at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 12. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society, Cerebral Palsy Association of Manitoba or a charity of choice. Grahams Funeral Service of Pilot Mound in care of arrangements
