KAZIMIERZ CIAPALA Kazimierz Ciapala passed away on December 7, 2000 at the age of 85 years. He was born on May 1, 1915 in the Republic of Poland, in the province of Slaske - Dabrowskie in the town and parish of Zawiercie. He grew up and was educated in Poland, where he obtained his Civil Engineering degree. During the war he served in the Polish Army and after it ended he met and married Halina, his wife (deceased). They immigrated to Canada in 1950. Kaz worked for the Province of Manitoba, Dept. of Highways and Public Works for 25 years until his retirement in 1980. He was a caring and loving father, always willing to help when it was needed. Kaz will be sadly missed by his children, son Andrew (Romona) and their daughter Lexi in Fisher Branch; his son Les (Anna) in Brandon; his daughter Aldona (Wayne) and their son Douglas in Souris, MB. Prayers will be held on Tuesday, December 12 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, December 13 at 11:00 a.m. also at the Chapel.
