JOAN KAYE TRENHOLM (nee DON) Suddenly on December 7, 2000, at the Health Sciences Centre, Joan Trenholm passed away. Joan was born March 2, 1930, in Winnipeg. She attended Polson School and Lord Wolseley School. She began her career in Winnipeg working for J.J.H. Maclean and Midwest soap. In 1958 she married Herb Trenholm and they moved to Saskatoon. Herb passed away in 1967. Joan worked in purchasing at the Royal University Hospital for 35 years. Joan met Glenn Campbell in 1970 and began a wonderful 30 year relationship, moving to Pinawa, Man., with Glenn in October of 2000. Joan leaves to mourn Glenn Campbell, her beloved companion; brothers, Bob (Lil) of Calgary, Alta., Art (Elsie) of Langley, B.C., and sister Marg (Bob) Andrews in Winnipeg; nieces, Arlene (Pat) Shirkey, Lyn (Larry) Steingart of Winnipeg, Man., and Debbie Nickolson of London, Ont.; nephews, Doug Andrews of Winnipeg, Jimmy Don and Raymond Don of B.C., Sherri Maggs and John of British Columbia, as well as many friends in Saskatoon and Winnipeg. She enjoyed many crafts and hobbies, knitting afghans, and watching for hawks with Glenn. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 13, at Bardal Funeral Chapel, 843 Sherbrook St. Should friends so desire donations may be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba.
