Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWALTER EDWARD OLSON Sunday, December 24, 1922 - Sunday, December 10, 2000 Peacefully on Sunday, December 10, 2000 Walter Edward Olson, entered rest at the Central Park Lodge, age 77 years. Walter was born in Scanterbury, Man., (Brokenhead First Nations). He resided there most of his life. He was a hunter and trapper. He loved singing and yodelling, while walking through the woods hunting. He also enjoyed playing the mouth harp. Walter worked at several jobs. He especially enjoyed tour guiding at Camp Chestlys every fall. Dad had been a resident of Central Park Lodge for the past two years. Walter leaves to cherish his memory his wife Mary Ann Olson; sons, Walter (Roseann) Olson, Joseph (Lucy) Olson, Cecil (Rose) Olson; daughters, Patricia Fontaine (Claude), Christina Mariash (Leonard), Nancy Lagimodiere (Larry), Adeline Coleman (Larry), Phyllis Olson (Darryl), Destiny Dawson (Jamie) and Sophie Chartrand (Ernie). He also leaves behind sisters, Eva Courchane and Diane McPherson and brother Norman Olson, as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many friends. He was predeceased by daughter Sybil and Emma Jane Olson; sons, George, Abert, John Olson and Robert Kent. As well as his parents Rudolph and Rosalie Olson and father-in-law and mother-in-law Alexander and Emma Jane Chief. Prayers will be held on Tuesday, December 12 at 7:00 p.m. at Knysh Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main St. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, December 13 at 11:00 a.m. also at the Knysh Funeral Chapel, Rev.
