ELOY DOMINGO Peacefully, on Sunday, December 10, 2000, Eloy passed away at the age of 60 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Veronica; son Edward; parents Crispin and Flordeliza; his brothers Jovito Sr., Rudy, Osmundo, Gerardo; and sisters Leticia, Cosette, Mescal living in the United States. Also by his brothers Primo, Nesmesio, and his sisters Benilda and Nila in the Philippines. He is also survived by his two brothers and sisters-in-law Juan and Luz, Andres and Amor; and numerous nieces, nephews and close friends. Predeceased by his brother Viador. Eloy was employed with the St. Boniface Hospital for many years. He completed a Bachelor Degree in Criminology in the Philippines. Upon retirement, Eloy developed a passion for gardening and loved his roses. He enjoyed spending his spare time reading, fishing, boxing and playing basketball. Lamay (viewing) will be held on Wednesday and Thursday, December 13 and 14, 2000 from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. with prayers being said at 9:00 p.m. at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (south of Royal Canadian Mint). Funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2000 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Timothy Roman Catholic Church, 135 John Forsyth Rd., with Father Gerry Ward presiding. Interment will follow at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. A gathering of family and friends will be held in the reception centre at Glen Lawn.
