ALLAN DOUGLAS BRACKEN Peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family, at Health Sciences Centre, on Monday, December 11, 2000, Dr. Allan Douglas Bracken, in his 88th year. Survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Rosemary and their children: John and wife Maureen, Doug Jr., Susan, Michael and wife Darlene, and their grandchildren: Shannon, Allison, Jennifer, Kyle and Kevin Bracken, and adopted grandson Cam Lirondelle and his wife Shannon, and great granddaughter Abby Lirondelle. Also surviving are his dear brothers Bruce, Gord and wife Ruth and numerous loving nieces and nephews. The family wish to thank Dr. S. Domke, Dr. F. Aoki, Dr. D. Hosking, Dr. K. Bernstein, Dr. O. Williams, Dr. B.B. Fast, Dr. K. Vijay and Dr. R. Nason, as well as the nursing staff on D5, D4, D2, H4 and H3 at Health Sciences, Home Care Department, Riverview Day Hospital and Dept. of Veterans Affairs. A special thank you to Bea, Carmalita, Tammy, Surrinder and Richard for their outstanding care. He was so appreciative of all your ministrations. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Operation Eyesight Universal, Box 123, Stn. M. Calgary, Alberta T2P 2H6 or to the charity of your choice.
