JOSEPH MURDOCH TAYLOR Joseph died with his family around him, Monday December 11. He was born in Sudbury, Ontario on October 1, 1932. He is pre-deceased by Rosealine and Brian. He is held in loving memory by his wife, Beverly Ann Suek, his children Keith, Wayne, John, Matthew, Clarina and Donna and their partners, Nina, Jane, and Sonya. Joe will also be missed by his grandchildren Benjamin, Logan (and their mother Judy), Saige, Madeline, Derek, Gregory, Joseph and Avery - all whom he loved dearly. Joseph is also survived by his brothers Morris and Tom. Joseph was Regional Manager of Weights and Measures Canada before retiring. He was also a former member of the Public Utilities Board. He devoted a great deal of his time and energy to work in the community, including being the Chair of the Womens Employment Service and helping set up Kali-Shiva AIDS Services following the death of his son, Brian. Joe loved gardening and enjoyed travelling. He was a person who appreciated the importance of enjoying the moment, and the beauty within the people he knew and the things he saw. Joe was a gentleman who valued honesty and integrity. He was passionate in expressing ideas and feelings that were close to his heart. He encouraged people he loved to follow their dreams. He believed that the most important part of his life was his relationships with others and supporting those he loved, his community and the world. He encouraged others to remember that loving others is what counts. He will be missed, and the love we have for him will never fade but only increase as it is shared by those that loved him. A service for Joseph is planned to take place at Thomson Funeral Chapels at 669 Broadway, on Friday December 15 at 1:00 p.m. Following the service there will be a reception. Any donations in his memory can be sent to Kali-Shiva AIDS Services (705 Broadway, Wpg. R3C 2X0). THOMSON FUNERAL CHAPELS 783-7211
