Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARY (PEGGY) EMMALINE GOWER (nee LIGHTFOOT) Peacefully on Monday, December 11, 2000 at Riverview Health Centre, Mary (Peggy) Emmaline Gower, passed away at the age of 70 years. She was predeceased by her husband Erwin; son Erwin Lee; grandson Derek Battershell; father Clifford Lightfoot; sister in infancy. Mary leaves to mourn her passing her ten children, Lynne (Larry) of Calgary, Cliff (Lois), Rosser, Marilyn (Roland) of Calgary, Maureen (Bill) Winnipeg, Laurie (Colleen), Winnipeg, Susan (Don) McCreary, Evalene of Winnipeg, Wendy (Larry), Alexander, Leslie (Dave) Winnipeg, Maxine (Melvin), Winnipeg, daughter-in-law Nancy; 32 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; her loving mother Margaret Lightfoot; sisters, Iva (Calvin), Lillian (Wilf), Ester (Cecil), Sandra (Al) brother Steve, all of Ontario; many nieces and nephews and many friends. Mary will be sadly missed by her very special friend Mela McLaughin of 51 years. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 13 at 1:30 p.m. at Salvation Army (324 Logan Ave.). A gathering of family and friends will follow in the hall. Mary will be laid to rest with her husband at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. The family would like to thank the nurses and care workers on 2 West and Dr. Lerner.
