JOHN G. WORTHINGTON Peacefully, on Sunday, December 10, 2000, John left us for a better place at the age of 90. He was predeceased by his sister and brother-in-law, Lillian and Frank Wilson and son-in-law Donald Duncan. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Agnes of 67 years and his family. Dad was born February 23, 1910 in Winnipeg on Arnold Avenue. Left to cherish Dads memory besides Agnes are his six children, Joan Moore (Charlie), Beverley Storey (Gary), Carol Duncan, Sylvia Ruddock (Percy), Ronald (Judy) and Bill (Leslie), 14 grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. John worked at the CNR Fort Rouge shops as a coach painter for 38 years. Johns greatest passions were his family and his automobiles and his wish of celebrating the millennium came true. Cremation has taken place and at Johns request there will be no service. A private family burial will be held at a later date.
