ROBERT JAMES STRATTON It is with deepest sorrow that we announce the passing of Robert Stratton, on December 6, 2000, at age 49, in Calgary, Alta. Bob is survived by his mother Eileen; son Christian; brother Johnny; sisters, Nina and Dawn and various aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Bob was born in Winnipeg on January 19, 1951, and attended Grant Park High School and Herzing Institute. He worked as a computer programmer for the City of Calgary until December 1999. Bob loved to visit the family cottage in Gimli each summer, to play chess and trivial pursuit, to curl, and he especially enjoyed watching his son Christian play hockey. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 16, at 2:00 p.m. in the St. Andrews Anglican Church at 2700 Portage Ave., with Rev. Ian Mills officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bobs memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
