Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJULIEN LEVESQUE Peacefully, on Sunday, November 26, 2000, Julien Levesque, aged 66 years, passed away at his residence. Predeceased by his parents, Auguste and Rose Levesque; his brothers, Maurice and Roland; his sister Nicole; his sister-in-law Gemma Moreau and his brother-in-law Roger Moreau, Julien will be remembered by his wife Lea and her four children, Claude Dubois, Denis Dubois, Juliette Gendron (Francois) and Laurent Dubois (Noreen Golding) Sonya, Matthew, Alain, Eddy, Katelyne, Danielle, Pascal and Milene who called him, with affection, "Grandpa", "Pepere" and "Grand-papa"; his sister Denise; his brothers, Guy (Lucille Tardif), Rene (Madeleine LaMontagne) and Gilles (Aline Thibault) his sister-in-law Simone Oulette and his brother-in-law Raymond Corriveau, as well as a number of nephews and nieces. During his career in the field of education, Julien worked as a classroom teacher at the Ecole Precieux-Sang, a consultant to the Bureau de leducation francaise, and a language monitor at the Centre de redaction of the College universitaire de Saint-Boniface. He also served as an editor for the monthly magazine Video-Presse. Julien was also an ardent supporter of Scouts du Canada for 21 years, an active member of the Knights of Columbus (Saint Adolphe) for 12 years, as well as a volunteer with the Winnipeg Habitat for Humanity. Prayers were held on Wednesday, November 29 at the Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 Des Meurons Street. The funeral service was held on Thursday, November 30 at the Saint-Eugene Roman Catholic Church, with Father Marcel Toupin presiding, assisted by Father Gilbert Gariepy. Cremation has taken place. We thank the pallbearers: Robert Chevrefils, Gerald Dupont, Roland Dupont, Henri Dupont and Ronald Dupont. Special thanks to Roger Bouvier, organizer and pallbearer, and to Guy Gagnon who, with Bertrand Delaquis, composed a eulogy, the reading of which eased the grief of Juliens sister Denise, his brother Rene, and his niece Ginette who were able to attend from Quebec.
