ANNABEL MARGARET THEODOROU July 21, 2000 - December 12, 2000 Cradled safely in the arms of her parents, our sweet, gentle baby Annabel passed away peacefully on December 12, 2000 at the tender age of four months. Annabel is survived by her devoted parents, Nestor and Wendy and by her loving sister Sophie Jane. Also left to grieve her loss are her grandparents, Apostolos and Sofia Theodorou and Robert J. and Margaret Parker; her Aunt Maria and Uncle Dan Rodrigues and her Uncle Tommy Theodorou; her Uncle Rob and Aunt Val Parker and Uncles Andy and David Parker. Annabel fought her battle with cancer with courage, dignity and grace. We will remember her strength and fighting spirit; her gentle, warm and affectionate personality; her sweet, cheeky smile and her soft ginger hair. Annabel loved her Mothers warm hugs, hearing her sisters happy voice and laughing with her Dad. She also loved to sing to her Mom, walk her sister to school and have long chats with her Grandpa. She brought great joy to her family and friends during her short life. She will remain in our hearts forever. We would like to thank our loving families and dear friends across the country for their support and prayers. We would also like to thank Dr. David Grewar, Dr. Kent Stobart, Cathy Bourne and the caring staff at Winnipeg Childrens Hospital and the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto. Thank you, dear friend and advocate Dr. Robert Conn; our second family in Toronto, the Bandeens; and Dr. Murdith McLean for his spiritual guidance and support. A private funeral service was held on Friday, December 15, at St. Georges Anglican Church in Winnipeg, the Rev. Dr. Murdith McLean officiating. Interment followed at St. Vital Cemetery.
