ALLAN EDWARD STONKUS Peacefully, after a courageous battle, Allan Stonkus, age 63 years, passed away at the St. Boniface Hospital on December 16, 2000. He is survived by his son Vincent Edward Stonkus and his wife Biljana and also grandson Justin Allan Alexander Stonkus. He was predeceased by his father Kazy Stonkus and his mother Donna Stonkus. Allan had enjoyed volunteering as a coordinating director for the Isaac Brock Hockey Program. He was also the President of the Midland Flyers Hockey Team. He retired from Manitoba Hydro in the late 1990s after working there for numerous years. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 22 at 11:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. with Fr. Paul Hancko officiating. Cremation to follow after service.
