JEANNETTE H. ANGUS (nee MACMILLAN) Beloved mother and Nanean, passed away December 17, 2000 at the Seven Oaks Hospital with her daughter and granddaughter at her side. She leaves her daughter Patricia (Hal) DeJulio of Concord, California; granddaughter Janet Beall of Manteca, Calif.; grandson Bill (Jani) Lynch of San Ramon, Calif.; great grandsons, Gregg and Ryan Beall of Manteca, Calif. and special friend Bonnie Neil of Winnipeg. Jeannette was predeceased by her husband Leonard J. Angus in 1976. Jeannette was born October 3, 1906 in Winnipeg and spent her entire life in the city. She worked for over 40 years for the Federal Grain Exchange and after retirement, started on a second career as a volunteer, including founding member and on the Board of Directors of Grand Friends, The YMHA Jewish Community Centre, Stay Young Club, also volunteering for Beacon Hill Lodge, YWCA, Lions Manor, Age and Opportunity, Stroke Foundation and Manitoba Mental Health Association. She was awarded "Outstanding Volunteer Services" awards by several of these social services agencies and nominated for the YW/YMCA Woman of the Year award. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends. Mom we love you and will always miss your winning smile and loving heart. You were always giving of yourself to all you came across and were in need. You always found some way to help. "May God bless you mother dear as you begin a new life."
