Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELIZABETH (BETTE) EDYTHE HUGHES Peacefully at Stevenson Memorial Hospital, Alliston, Ont. on Friday, December 15, 2000, Elizabeth Edythe (Bette) Hughes, age 74 of Angus, Ont. Beloved wife of Thomas Hughes for 55 years. Loving mother of Geri Delournette, Oshawa and predeceased by her son Robert Hughes, November 7, 1996. Special grandmother to Shawn and Rose Haggarty, Woodbridge, Ont., Laurie and James of Oshawa. Great-grandmother to five children. No funeral service will be held. Cremation has taken place. A Hughes family memorial service will be held in Winnipeg in August, 2001. If so desired, a memorial donation may be made to Stevenson Memorial Hospital Foundation, 200 Fletcher Crescent, Alliston, Ont., L9R 1W7. Arrangements entrusted to W. John Thomas Funeral Home, Alliston (705-435-5101).
