(ALICE) DORIS CHUCHMUCH (Alice) Doris Chuchmuch nee Klein went to be with the Lord on December 18, 2000. Doris was born June 22, 1930 in Zorra, Saskatchewan. She was predeceased by her husband Alex (1987), her parents Jacob and Christina Klein, brother Harold Klein, sister Bertha and husband Sam Relkey and daughter Debbie Relky, brother Allan Klein. Doris is survived by her children, Irene of Calgary, Myron (Stef) of Winnipeg, Miles (Heather) of Thunder Bay, David (Vickie) of Calgary, Stan (Marty) of Selkirk, Jack (Gloria) of Brantford, Veronica (David) of Winnipeg, Gloria (Perry) of Lorette. Also, surviving Doris are her sisters, Freda MacDougall of Brandon, Edna (Paul) Schwab, of Kelowna; brothers, Robert of Togo, SK, Lennard of Yorkton, SK. 19 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Doris married Alex Chuchmuch in 1950; they farmed at Angusville, MB area, and here raised eight children. Doris was a home care worker prior to her retirement. In 1995 she moved to Rossburn, MB, where she enjoyed her retirement immensely. Doris was actively involved in the Angusville Ukrainian Catholic Womens League, active member of the Sacred Heart Ukrainian Catholic Church, Seniors group in Rossburn, 50 Plus club in Angusville, and member of the Angusville Heritage Hall Committee. She enjoyed gardening and doing crafts but you could not keep Doris away from a good card game (Canasta)!! Doris enjoyed her adventures of travelling, especially to visit family (her special grandchildren). Doris was always available to her many friends at a moments notice. She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends, and anyone who knew her. Prayers will be held at Sacred Heart Church in Rossburn on Thursday, December 21 at 7:30 p.m. Funeral service will be on Friday, December 22 at 10:30 a.m., Sacred Heart Church, in Rossburn, Celebrants Father Mike Tkachuk and Father John Lehky, with interment to follow at Angusville Cemetery. Cross Bearer Lindsey Habib. Pallbearers, Scott, Jason, Ryan, Jeff, Trevor Chuchmuch and Michael Hamilton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cancer Society. Raes Funeral Home of Shoal Lake, MB will be in charge of the arrangements. VICHNAYA PAMYAT
