ODD ANDREAS REIDULFF Peacefully, at the Grace Hospital, with his family by his side, on December 19, 2000, Odd passed away after a brief and courageous battle against leukemia, at the age of 73. He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his beloved wife Thorun; his Number 1 son Len; grandchildren, Scott, and Callie of Chestermere, AB; brother Arne and sister-in-law Alida of Winnipeg and sister Unni of Norway; sisters-in-law, Karin, Gunvor and Ingrid; brother-in-law Leif of Norway, and many nieces and nephews in Canada and Norway. Odd was predeceased by his father Andreas and his mother Elsa. Odd was born in Norway on June 10, 1927 and immigrated to Canada in 1952. He spent most of his working life in the airline business, retiring from Pacific Western Airlines (Canadian Airlines) in 1984. After that, he joined his good friend Bob Fiala at Western Egg until 1989. For the next 11 years, Odd and Thorun spent the summers at their cottage at Hillside Beach and winters in Florida at Cocoa Beach. In Florida, Odd and Thorun made a number of special friends whose friendship will be eternal. In the Manitoba summers, Odd started to work again as the Head Marshall at the Grand Pines Golf Club. Odds personality shined there, as he loved to be with people in the great outdoors. Odd was also a member at Pine Falls Golf Course, where he made many friends. He was also an active member of the Canadian Airlines Retirees Association, Wartime Pilots Association, and Manitoba Senior Golf Association. The family would like to thank Dr. P. Harris, Dr. R. Narvas, the staff of 3 West and Observation at the Grace Hospital, as well as Major Gordon Jarvis and Major Bill Loveless for all their help and kindness. Also, we would like to thank all of Odds family and friends for your prayers and love during his illness. At Odds request, cremation has taken place, and a Memorial Service to celebrate Odds life will take place on Saturday, December 23 at 11:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Odds memory to your favourite charity or the Grace Hospital, 300 Booth Dr., Winnipeg, R3J 3M7.
