WALERIA MAJEWSKI It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Waleria on December 20, 2000 at the Seven Oaks General Hospital at the age of 89 years. Waleria was born in Poland on September 24, 1911. While in Germany she met and married Roman Majewski and together they came to Canada in 1956. Roman predeceased her in April of 1982. Waleria and Roman were also predeceased by their two children, Richard and Kristina. She is survived by members of her family in Poland and friends in Canada. Waleria was a member of St. Marys Parish since her and Roman arrived in Canada. She was also a member of the Ladies Blessed Sacrament Society. Funeral Mass with be celebrated on Wednesday December 27 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Marys Polish National Catholic Church, 361 Burrows Avenue with Father Monsignor Wesley Cwieka. Burial will follow the service at Holy Ghost Cemetery. Words of thanks to the Winnipeg Police Service, Winnipeg Ambulance and the staff of Seven Oaks General Hospital.
