MARIA PROVENZANO MONCADO On December 20, 2000 at the St. Boniface Hospital, Maria Provenzano Moncado beloved wife of the late Diego Moncado, at the age of 84 years. Maria was born on June 1, 1916 in Canicatti Agrigento, Sicily. She is survived by her children, Maria and Giacchino Gettino and their three children and seven grandchildren, Giesseppe Moncado (Diane Glass) and their two children and one grandchild, Antonia Campanella, two children and two grandchildren, Anna and Calogero Campanella, five children and six grandchildren, Eleanora and Carmeni Bonanni, Alfonsa and Rosario Vassallo, four children and five grandchildren, Vincenzo and Maria Moncado three children, Calogera Lena and DomenicoValentini, two children and one grandchild, Salvatore and Debra Moncado, three children,as well as 21 great grandchildren. She is also survived in France and Sicily by her brother Diego and Carmalina Provenzano; sisters, Alfonsa Lobello, Rosa Pedano, and Vincenzina Truisi. Prayer Vigil will take place on Friday, December 22 at 7:30 p.m. in the P. Coutu Funeral Chapel, 156 Marion Street., with Deacon Vince Catalano. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, December 23 at 10:00 a.m. in the Holy Rosary Church, 510 River Rd., with Reverend Fr. Sam Argenziano presiding at the Eucharist. Interment will follow in the Chapel of Eternal Memories Mausoleum, 1501 Waverley Street. Pallbearers will be Diego Moncado, Diego S. Moncado, Claudio Campanella, Vito Valentini, Catino Vassallo and Giacchino DiMartini. Special thanks to the Dialysis Unit and Palliative Care Unit at the St. Boniface Hospital, your care and compassion was greatly appreciated.
