ARTHUR MILTON DUDGEON 1930 - 2000 Suddenly, on Wednesday, December 20, 2000 at the Morden Hospital, Arthur Dudgeon, age 70 years, of the Morden District, went to his eternal rest. He leaves to mourn his passing his beloved wife Lorraine (nee Rothenberger) two daughters Jodene and Roy Toews of East Selkirk and sons Kevin, Adam; Dawnalee and Ray Dudgeon-Christie of Winnipeg and children Cameron, Taylor, one sister Eileen (Jack) Laing of Morden; two brothers Allan and Marion Dudgeon of Morden; Dale and Phyllis Dudgeon of Darlingford and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Ole Dudgeon in 1983. Viewing will be Friday, December 22, 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Wiebe Funeral Chapel, Morden (1050 Thornhill St.). Cremation will take place. Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 23, 11:00 a.m. at St. Pauls United Church, Morden (353 Thornhill St.) with Rev. Jim Penhale officiating. Ash interment will follow at the Chapel Cemetery, Morden at a later date. Donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Fund of Manitoba, 301-352 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3B 2H8. He will surely be missed on those fishing trips up the Winnipeg River and those polka parties will never be the same without him there, doing his fancy steps.
