BETTY VIOLET MAUNDER On December 20, 2000, at the Health Sciences Centre, Betty Maunder passed away at the age of 74 years. Betty is survived by her son Douglas Mondor of Dauphin, Man. She was predeceased by her husband Al Maunder and mother Elisabeth Dueck. Betty was a member of The Canadian Womens Army Corps., and later served with 141 Company of 6th Column Royal Canadian Army Service Corps (M). She was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion, Brooklands and Weston Branch, and had recently received her 40 year pin. Betty will be greatly missed and always remembered by all who knew her, especially her close friends Ron, Pat and Cheryl. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, December 28, at Bardal Funeral Chapel, 843 Sherbrook St., with Captain Peter Eason officiating. Visitation one hour prior to service. Interment Brookside Cemetery. Special thanks to Bettys homecare workers, to the staff of Gd-4 at the Health Sciences Centre and to Kim Nichol for the years of care and compassion given to Bettys son Douglas.
