Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryNELL STOROZUK (nee FEDOROVICH) With great sadness, the family announces the death of Nell Storozuk on Thursday, December 21, 2000 at the Grace General Hospital. She is survived by her daughters, Leona McEvoy and Beverly Shaw; son-in-law Phillip; grandchildren, Michael (Sarah), Kevin (Darlene), Erin (Ted), Rosemary (Cam), Patrick (Debra), Laura (Lance), and Lisa; great-grandchildren, Katie, Caroline, Sheryll, Jeni-lee, Hannah, Nikolas, Gabriel, Amy, Annie, Melysa, Megan, and Samuel; great-great-grandchild, Breanna; sisters, Lilian Balak (Michael) and Katherine, as well as several nieces and nephews. Nell was predeceased by her parents, John and Dora Fedorovich; sister Mary Kozak; brother Paul, and her longtime devoted companion Eddie Elias. Mom lived in Winnipeg for most of her life. She was employed by the Hudsons Bay Company for 31 years and retired in 1976. During this time, she made several lifelong friends. She enjoyed her retirement years, travelling and visiting family. Mom loved flowers, reading, and watching her favourite T.V. programs and crocheting. Every family member received an afghan. For the last years, Mom had the care of a wonderful home care staff for which we are most grateful. We express our deep gratitude to the 5th Floor staff at the Grace General Hospital, Dr. McAmmond, and the Salvation Army Pastoral Care for the compassion and loving care. Thank you also to family and friends for the support given during this difficult time. A celebration of Moms life will be held at the St. Anns Roman Catholic Church, 271 Hampton St. in St. James, on Wednesday, December 27 at 10:00 a.m. Those wishing to do so may make a donation in Nells memory to the Salvation Army.
