Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryARNOLD O. (ARNIE) MANN It is with much sorrow the children of Arnie Mann announce the passing of our father at his home, Saturday, December 16, 2000 in Keewatin, ON. Dad was 84. Our father was born in Winnipeg, MB on February 16, 1916. He moved his young family to Keewatin in 1949. Employed by W.H. Marr for over 25 years, Dad was a master mechanic who had the Midas touch, a superb sense of feel that compensated for his loss of hearing in his later years. After Marrs, Dad worked at the Mando garage until his retirement. Dad was predeceased by our sister Darlene in 1978 and our loving mother Marie who passed in 1997. He is survived by his daughters, Caroline Schabler, Keewatin, and Judie Lee, Dauphin, MB; two sons, Allan, Winnipeg, and Jim, McKenzie, BC. Dad is also survived by his brother Alfred of Vernon, BC and two sisters, Lillian and Lorretta, both of Abbotsford, BC. In retirement, Dad enjoyed being a grandfather, a gardener, and when the occasion arose, he enjoyed the hunt for the walleye. At Dads request, cremation has taken place and a private family service was held. The Kenora Community Funeral Home entrusted to the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, our family suggests a donation may be kindly sent to Lake of the Woods District Hospital, 21 Sylvan St., W., Kenora, ON P9N 3W7. Our family extends our thanks to Anne Mulski and our dear friend Helen Richards, both of home care, for their kind attention given our father during the last two years. Their care and support was greatly appreciated. "You fought the good fight, Dad. Time now to take your rest."
