Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDOROTHY DOBSON Dorothy Dobson passed away on Thursday, December 21, 2000, at the Deer lodge Centre in Winnipeg. Dorothy was born in Winnipeg on February 1, 1911, and received her education in Winnipeg schools and the University of Manitoba. She graduated with a degree in dietetics and worked in various Manitoba locations. When the Second World War broke out, she joined the Medical Corps and served in England, France and Germany, rising to the rank of Captain. After the war she remained in the medical Corp. until retirement and then returned to live in Winnipeg. She will be lovingly remembered by nephews, Richard Argue and wife Dawn of Sherwood Park, Alta., and James Brent Argue and wife Teri of Edmonton, Alta., also brother-in-law James B. Argue of Summerland, B.C., and by a special friend Mary McLeod of Winnipeg and many friends among dieticians and nursing sisters. She will be remembered for her love of music and dancing. Cremation has taken place and funeral arrangements will be scheduled at a later date.
