She is survived by her son Fred and wife Vernice; granddaughter Lenore and husband Kent Myska; great-grandson Aidan Myska; granddaughter Kimberly; grandson Vance of Toronto; son Tom and wife Cheryl; granddaughter Ainsley of Calgary; grandson Craig; sisters, Alice Beament of LaRonge and Kay Galbraith of Gilbert Plains, plus many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband Fred Austin Woodward; parents, Horace and Marie Barrett; brother William Barrett; brother Leigh Barrett and wife Gwen; sister Mary and husband Ken Lambert; sister Dorothy and husband Eric Martindale; brother-in-law Robert Galbraith and daughter-in-law Susan Woodward. Anne was born in Gilbert Plains Municipality on April 14, 1913, residing on the family farm and attending Mineral Creek School. In 1934 she moved to The Pas where she met her future husband and spent many happy years. They came to Winnipeg in 1957 and she has resided here since. For the past eight months Anne has been a resident of Lions Personal Care Centre and her family wish to extend their thanks and appreciation to the cheerful and dedicated staff for having made these last months comfortable for her, amid bright and pleasant surroundings. Anne had been an active member of Christ Church in The Pas, St. Matthews Anglican Church in Winnipeg, and was a Past Worthy Matron of Opasquia Chapter 24, O.E.S. Always fond of farm animals, especially horses, she was an accomplished rider in her younger years. She enjoyed travelling and on various occasions was able to visit Europe, the Holy Land, Hawaii, and the Caribbean. One of her greatest pleasures was her family and hosting family events; over the years she was always there for us. We love you. There will be a funeral service at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 28 in St. Matthews Anglican Church, St. Matthews at Maryland, with the Rev. Canon Peter Flynn officiating. Following a reception at the church, interment will be in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may call for visitation between 7:00 and 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 27 at Thomson Funeral Chapels, 669 Broadway. THOMSON FUNERAL CHAPELS 783-7211
