BARBARA LENNON KOWASKI (nee LORENZ) Peacefully on Saturday, December 23, 2000 with her daughter Kathy at her side, Barbara Anne, in her 80th year was reunited with her beloved husband Edward for their first Christmas together since his passing August 17, 1972. Barbara married Edward in 1936, and her second husband Mike Kowaski in 1976. Our mother was predeceased by her son Larry in 1986; sisters, Frances, Billie, Olive; and brother Edward. Mother will always be loved, cherished, and remembered by her daughter-in-law Anita Lennon, and her children Margaret Reichardt (Frank), Barbara Spiess (Larry), Bill Lennon (Sylvie Sigurdson), Kathy Robertson (David), Ed Lennon (Doris), Carla Macintyre, Arlene Chan (Aaron) sisters Marg, Louise, Eva (Arnold), and Kathy; brother-in-law Joe Lennon (Edith) numerous nieces and nephews. We are not to forget her legacy of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Barbaras family, church, and community kept her busy. Her kindness and devotion to St. Anthony has been passed on to her family and friends. Prayers will be said on Thursday, December 28 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Bernadette Roman Catholic church, corner Cottonwood Drive and Drake Boulevard. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, December 29 at 10:30 a.m. also at the church. Interment St. Marys Cemetery. The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the caring, loving caregivers of 2 South at the Deer Lodge Centre. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Raphaels Centre, or to the Holy Redeemer Parish Food Bank. Envelopes and containers for food will be provided at St. Bernadette.
