In sorrow we announce the sudden passing of our son, brother, cousin, uncle, great-uncle and nephew, on December 22, 2000.
Perry was born June 7, 1951, to Aldemar Aarhus and Merle Aarhus in Vita, Man.
He is predeceased by his grandfathers and grandmothers, uncles and cousin. Left to cherish his memories are his parents; sisters, Mavis (Ernie) Druzyk, Lila Aarhus, Lorraine Mitchell (Scottie), special friend Doreen Campbell and family, numerous uncles and aunts, cousins, a niece and nephew and two great-nieces.
Perry had a great love for the outdoors. He worked with construction companies for many years. Perry liked to play cards and visit many of his family and friends.
The funeral service will be held on Friday, December 29, at 10:30 a.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel with viewing one half hour prior to service. Interment will follow in the Norwegian Cemetery. Lunch at Zhoda hall.
Special thanks to Phil and Kimberly Delorme and the rest of the search party, the Bethesda Hospital, St. Boniface Hospital, Steinbach Emergency Medical Services and the local R.C.M.P. Detachment.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Childrens Wish Foundation.
