MARIE FLORENCE ENNS (nee HIEBERT) May 20, 1922 - December 24, 2000 Beloved wife of William Isaac Enns for over 50 years, died December 24, 2000. Marie was predeceased by her sister Margaret and her brother Hank. Left to cherish her memory are her sister Trudy; her daughter Denise; her sons Gary and Bradley; her grandchildren, Lisa, Marcus, Leigh, Connor, Joel and Josh. Marie was a loving mother and devoted friend. She served in the Canadian Air Force during the Second World War, canvassed for charity and did volunteer work. She loved to read, take trips to the cottage, and play Bridge with her friends, Mama Carter, Molly Ireland, Shirley Milton, Edith Davies, Jean McBean and Phyllis Driedger. One of her fondest memories was her trip to England to visit her sister Margaret and her family. Margaret was always there for her and her family. A service in remembrance will be held on Thursday, December 28 at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., Winnipeg, with Pastor Ruth Boehm officiating.
