ROWLAND WILLIAM CARTER MEIKLE (MIKE) It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Mike Meikle on December 25, 2000. Mike was born on March 9, 1913, in Halifax, N.S. He served in the Canadian Military from 1936 to 1966 and retired as a Captain in the RCASC. After his retirement from the military, he was a purchasing agent for Mall Hotel until 1978. He enjoyed spending winters in Pharr, Texas until 1995 and spent his summers in the Whiteshell. He will be fondly remembered by his wife of 60 years, Genevieve; daughters, Patricia and Sharon; son Richard (Sharon) grandsons, Brock and Braden (whom he dearly loved) brother Harold and sister Irene. At Mikes request, cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to: CHAPEL LAWN FUNERAL HOME CEMETERY AND CREMATORIUM 885-9715
